CoScan is an autonomous non-profit making organization funded by subscriptions from its affiliated member societies and individual members, and by voluntary contributions and fund-raising activities. CoScan has close links with the five Nordic Embassies in London and is run by an Executive Committee elected by affiliated societies at the Annual General Meeting.
The AGM is held alternately in the UK and in a Nordic country during the biennial CoScan Conference.

COSCAN Travel Award
The Travel Award helps young British People between the age of 15 to 25 to visit a Scandinavian country while undertaking a worthwhile project of a broadly educational nature. The closing date for applications for a Travel Award grant is 31st March.
CoScan would like to help as many young people as they can. All donations will directly help young people and continue to enhance the relationship with the Scandinavian countries.

COSCAN International Award
The CoScan International Award was established in 1994. This prestigious award recognises an achievement of outstanding merit by an individual, body or group related to one or more of the five Nordic countries.
CoScan International Award 2019 was presented on 27th November to Sweden's Dr Lisbeth Rausing, the famous science historian and philanthropist. Through her philanthropic trusts, she has worked tirelessly to help to preserve culture and the environment, throughout the world. The award ceremony took place at the Swedish Ambassador's residence, 27 Portman Place, London.
