Explore the City of London and learn more about ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens on Tuesday, 8th October 2024 at 11am

Our guided autumn walk with our usual guide, Grethe Hauge, will have a distinctively Dickensian theme, as Grethe will guide us around lots of places associated with Charles Dickens and tell us about his books – especially ‘A Christmas Carol’.

After the walk, we would suggest a spot of lunch at the Counting House, which is very much like the ‘money-changing hole’ where Scrooge used to sit and count his money.

We’ll meet up by Bank tube station in front of the Royal Exchange at 11am. The walk will take one and a half hours.

The price for this walking tour is £13 per person for members and £15 per person for non-members.

As always, we’re looking forward to seeing you.

Please sign up via e-mail to events@anglo-danishsociety.org.uk by 3rd October 2024 and indicate whether or not you’d like to stay for lunch afterwards, so we can make a booking.

Please note that payments should be made by bank transfer to our account: Sort Code: 55-70-13, account number: 78325285. Please use your name and the event as references for your payment.
