BALTIC NEIGHBOURS: A HISTORY OF COMPETITION, CONFLICT, AND CO-OPERATION
Members of The Anglo-Danish Society are kindly invited by The Anglo-Swedish Society to join a Zoom lecture.
We very pleased to announce that Caroline Boggis-Rolfe, noted lecturer and historian, has accepted an invitation to give a Zoom talk on “Sweden and the Nordic nations” with special focus on the relationship with Denmark.
Caroline recently published a major book “The Baltic Story: A Thousand-Year History of Its Lands, Seas and Peoples“ (Amberley Publishing 2019) which received great reviews. We will also be talking with her more broadly in a Q+A session after her lecture. David Goldsmith and Eric Orlowski will be on hand to try to ensure that the whole evening is both memorable and informative.
Attendance is open to members of the Anglo-Swedish Society and sister societies abroad. Please register by email and login details will be sent nearer the time:
