CANCELLATION of Royal Jubilee Patron Afternoon Tea - 18 September 14.00 hrs
It is with deep regret that we have to announce the cancellation of our Royal Jubilees Event at Drapers’ Hall next month. We have been informed by the Drapers’ Company that, while major works and renovations have been carried out at the Hall over the summer, the contractors found the presence of asbestos. Work to make the area safe to use will delay their schedule of works until the end of October 2023 and, consequently, we will not be able to host our Royal Jubilees Event in their garden, as planned.
This is obviously very disappointing and we very much regret having to cancel an event, which we had been looking forward to attending. Anyone who has signed up for the event will receive a refund of the fees paid as soon as possible.
We apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused and hopefully we shall see you at other events in the not too distant future.
Please join us in marking the historic and unique Royal Jubilees of our Patrons, HM Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee and HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark’s Golden Jubilee.

We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating and commemorating the historic, royal milestone jubilees of our Royal Patrons in 2022. This event promises to be a very enjoyable afternoon at our garden party at Drapers’ Hall in the City of London.
We shall enjoy a traditional afternoon tea with sparkling wine as well as a special jubilee-themed celebration cake in honour of our Patrons.
The garden at Drapers’ Hall is a well-hidden gem, which will provide a magnificent backdrop for our festive gathering.
This will be a good chance to meet up with fellow members and friends. Please also remember that you will be supporting our Scholarship Programme by attending. Naturally, we would also be grateful if you would consider making a donation to the Scholarship Programme – especially if you are unable to attend this event.
Should the weather be less than welcoming on the day, we shall simply bring the celebrations into the Hall.
Early-bird tickets are available for members of the Anglo-Danish Society, DKUK, the Danish Church and KFUK for only £90 until (and including) 10 August 2022, so please do not hesitate to sign up early.
As of 11 August 2022, tickets are £100 for members. Tickets for non-members are £110 (from now on and until 1. September 2022).
