THE ANGLO-DANISH SOCIETY and CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

The Anglo-Danish Society is a registered UK charity founded in 1924 with the aim of fostering good relations between Denmark and the United Kingdom via the promotion of knowledge of the arts, sciences and culture of both countries; the award of grants for educational study in the United Kingdom and Denmark; and the support of any other charitable activities.

Our present patrons are His Majesty King Charles III and His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark with Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Gloucester KG GCVO as the Protector of the Scholarship Programme, who with her husband, The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO, was Guest of Honour at the Society’s recent Centenary Gala Dinner at Drapers’ Hall.

The Society has a blend of members from a variety of backgrounds and professions with several high profile corporate members which provides an interesting mix at events, which include the AGM held in May at the Danish Embassy followed by the Ambassador’s reception, events at Drapers’ Hall and elsewhere.

We also offer joint events with our fellow Scandinavian Societies and actively encourage members to suggest relevant events. This may especially appeal to Corporate Members keen to develop their profile and working relationships. If you have any suggestions, please contact us.

We welcome all members who wish to foster relationships between the UK and Denmark and hope to see Corporate representatives at our events throughout the year.
