Talk by Kikkan Marshall Haugen (Former Norwegian Ambassador to Malawi and Angola)

Our member Mr Kikkan M. Haugen has kindly agreed to talk about his nearly 30 years in the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, culminating in Ambassadorial posts to Malawi and Angola, from which he retired in 2022. Since then, he has taken on a voluntary role as Adviser for NRC (Norwegian Refugee Council) and will describe the very important work that this organisation does in food security, education, shelter, legal assistance, protection from violence, and sanitation.

Cost: Free to members of Anglo-Nordic Societies. Non-members/ guests: £10
