Following a short AGM – at which all are welcome but only members may vote – we are fortunate (subject to any unforeseen major news story) to have Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK)’s UK & Ireland correspondent (and former news anchor of ‘Dagsrevyen’) Gry Blekastad Almås, who will talk about her role and some of the bigger news stories she has covered here, as well as about her book ‘Nor-Britannia’ (“A journey through the Norwegian United Kingdom”). This is essential reading (in Norwegian) for anyone with an interest in Anglo-Norwegian historical, cultural and political relations and Gry will bring copies available for purchase and to sign.
