INVITATION to DANISH FAIR & ONLINE RAFFLE

Danish Fair 2026 is on Saturday 16th May from 11 am till 5 pm at 4 St Katharine’s Precinct, London NW1 4HH

Meet your friends, shop for modern and classic Danish design, food and sweets, rummage for antiques, enjoy Danish open-faced sandwiches, pastries and layer cake in the restaurant or hot dogs, frikadeller and more in the street food stalls – and your favourite cold drinks and cocktails from the bar.

In the Book Café browse the many English and Danish books and meet Nordic Noir author Heidi Amsinck and author, journalist and former politician

Uffe Elbæk. Both will engage in talks with Rector Karsten Møller Hansen and sign their latest books. Children will have fun with traditional Danish Fair games in the garden, including our ever popular Flødebolle Catapult.

SANDI TOKSVIG will declare the fair open at 11 am, tour the many stalls, enjoy a traditional Danish lunch in the restaurant and the book stall will sell copies of her latest book, Friends of Dorothy.

No Danish Fair without our beloved raffle! There is a wealth of amazing prizes up for grabs – including a luxury getaway in Scotland, flights to Denmark, hotel stays in Copenhagen, delicious dinners in London, original art, fine bottles and much much more.

Get your raffle tickets here:  https://www.danskekirke.org/raffle

Ticket prices: £2 each • 11 for £20 • 30 for £50 • or go BIG with 65 for £100

Every ticket sold helps keep The Danish Church in London alive – not just as a place of worship, but as a cultural home and support network for Danes and friends in the UK.

Your support helps us:

  • Maintain and staff our beautiful church building
  • Host cultural events that celebrate our Danish heritage and Anglo-Danish culture
  • Offer Danish lessons for all ages in evening classes for adults and Saturday School for children
  • Support Danes in UK through challenging times, hardship, tragedies and illness

The draw will take place at Danish Fair on Saturday 16. May at 4.30pm. Cannot be there on the day? No problem – we’ll contact all winners by email and post the winning numbers on our website. Thank you for your support – may see you there – and best of luck!
