Walking tour at Greenwich on Thursday, 3rd April 2025 at 11am
Grethe Hauge, our usual guide, to took us on one of her popular walking tours exploring Greenwich, which is an interesting area with several Danish connections.
Our group of 15 met at the Docklands Light Railway stop called Cutty Sark at 11am.
The walk took about two hours, including a one-hour visit to the Queen’s House where several paintings of Queen Anne are on display.
Following the tour, we enjoyed a convivial lunch at the Trafalgar Tavern, Riverside pub – Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich, a quintessential British riverside pub at 1pm.
It was a most enjoyable and interesting day especially in view of the fine spring weather
