The Society’s membership subscription year runs for the calendar year, and renewal subscriptions are therefore due 1 January annually. We would encourage members to pay their annual subscription by Banker’s Standing Order, alternatively by cheque made out to Anglo-Danish Society or by electronic bank transfer, BACS to the Society’s bank, NatWest;

As new members join throughout the year, the membership subscription payable in the year you join the Society is a pro rata amount of the 12 months’ subscription.

This is to ensure that new members only pay proportionately for the length of time from when they join up to the 31 December of that (part) year. Thereafter, the annual subscription applies and is payable each 1 January.

The pro rata subscriptions are tabulated below and also referenced on the Membership Application Form. The pro rata basis calculation is according to the calendar quarter you join the Society and whether Individual or Family/Partnership class of membership.
SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENT IS PRO-RATA IN THE MONTH OF JOINING:

Membership of the Society shall be considered terminated if subscription remains unpaid for one year.
